Vanessa: TVD scoop, please and thank you!
We’ll say this: Prepare for an epic season. (Shocking, we know.) “Oh gosh, it’s good. It is really good,” Kat Graham gushes of the fourth season. “This is a season where Elena is in transition to become a vampire and then Bonnie is going to start to dabble in some crazy things. We get to see her going into another side maybe fans have yet to see her in. It’s cool.” Anyone else getting Dark Willow vibes and living for it?

The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham tells Celebuzz about what’s going to happen to Bonnie in season 4.
“You are going to see a Bonnie that is in a more vulnerable place — which she’s always sort of been, but now she’s going to be forced to do different things that make her way more vulnerable than she’s ever been,” she said. “She’s going to lose even more than she lost. She’s going to have to find a way to fill in that hole. You’re going to find a different side. It’s not bad. It’s not all drama.”

Entertainment Weekly has the scoop about Bonnie’s new power and what big part she has this season.
Because I can never have enough, any scoop on Bonnie? #TVD — Jenna
First, can we take a beat to recognize the epic-ness of last night’s episode? (Miss it? Read the recap here.) Second, you know that coffin dream that proved to be more accurate than initially thought? There are more of those to come. “I love that they brought in that aspect of her, because a lot of the stuff that Bonnie experiences in terms of being a witch is very external and all about doing a spell and a lot of physicality,” says Kat Graham. “I’m all about the mind, so the fact that they basically are shooting the character in kind of a parallel universe [in those dreams] is super exciting to me and definitely one of my favorite things that they’ve done this season with her.” This isn’t the first time Bonnie has had premonitions. In season 1, a vision predicted when Coach Tanner died, but since then, we haven’t had any more indicators of her future-telling abilities. “Now it seems like they’re evolving it into more actual dreams or visions in her sleep,” Graham adds. And per EP Julie Plec, “Her dreams are all leading her somewhere.” For more TVD scoop, read what Plec had to say about last night’s midseason return and next week’s episode (naked Damon!).
The Insider recently spoken to The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham about her character and how Bonnie has a big part to play.
Insider.com: Last night’s episode saw Bonnie have a prophetic dream. Is that a new “power?”
Kat Graham: It’ll happen a little bit more of it in terms of trying to crack the code, which I think it so interesting because you see so much of the supernatural in the actual Mystic Falls world, but you don’t really see it in terms of a subconscious way. I thought it was really cool that they gave Bonnie that.
Insider: In this dream, she saw Klaus lying in the coffin that in reality can’t be opened. How long will it remain sealed?
Kat: I can’t say how long it will be but I can tell you that whatever is in that coffin is extremely important to the future of what’s happening in Mystic Falls – and the show in general. There’s a lot of weight to that reveal.
Insider: Suffice it to say, the reveal will be, in true TVD fashion, shocking?
Kat: So shocking. I thought that by season three they wouldn’t be able to shock me anymore, but that has not been the case at all. It’s always said that a third season is the best season, and in our case, that’s so true. This year is so incredibly shocking. It’s a mind f*** and I love it [laughs]. People will not believe what’s coming and the degree of twists and turns with how they interlock the originals with other things and how their relationships with everyone in Mystic Falls is going to play out.
Insider: Whenever The CW sets up a big round of phoners for you, it’s because Bonnie is quickly put in a life or death situation. Safe to say that’s the case here?
Kat: I love that she’s always in danger of dying. Half of me doesn’t want to be killed off the show, but I want people to be nervous – I don’t want anyone to get comfortable with the mortality of these characters. I love my fans and I love this show, but because of her fearlessness and self-sacrificing nature, it doesn’t have to be a killer that takes her out. It could be herself.
Insider: If Bonnie does die, is that how you’d like her to go out?
Kat: I would prefer a big, huge, blow-out self-sacrificial death. That’s who she is. Bonnie is a powerhouse character and if it were to come to death one day, I would hope it was a choice she made to die.

Thanks to @cadlymack for the heads up. Here’s the official synopsis for episode 312 “The Ties That Bind” :
PERSIA WHITE GUEST STARS AS BONNIE’S MOTHER — Bonnie (Kat Graham) believes her recurring dreams about Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) coffins will tell her how he can be killed. The dreams also lead Bonnie to a reunion with her mother, Abby (guest star Persia White, “Girlfriends”), whom Bonnie hasn’t seen for 15 years. At Abby’s remote farmhouse, Bonnie and Elena (Nina Dobrev) meet Jamie (guest star Robert Ri’chard, “One on One”), the young man Abby took in years earlier. Bonnie’s sudden appearance catches Abby off-guard, but she does her best to explain the past. Tyler (Michael Trevino) turns to an unexpected ally in his quest to regain his free will. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is intrigued by Alaric’s (Matt Davis) new friend, Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey Devitto), and Klaus continues his bitter negotiations with Stefan (Paul Wesley) over control of the coffins containing his family members.
The episode was directed by John Dahl and written by Brian Young.
According to E!Online’s Kristin Dos Santos, Bonnie Bennet‘s new love interest Jamie will be portrayed by Robert Ri’chard:
The Vampire Diaries will be bringing in a new love interest of the bad-boy variety for its resident witch Bonnie (Kat Graham), who was recently burned by her ghost-lovin’ ex Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), and they’ve recruited a former Veronica Mars star for the gig.
So who’s playing the new guy that’ll catch Bonnie’s eye? We’ve got the exclusive scoop…
Robert Ri’chard (played Mason on Veronica Mars) is taking on the potentially recurring role of Jamie when the hit show returns in January.
Viewers will meet Jamie in episode 12, when Bonnie and Elena (Nina Dobrev) go on a little road trip. Described as handsome (obviously) and a little rough around the edges, Bonnie immediately takes an interest in Jamie. Get it, gurl!
