EOnline has the scoop on what to expect with Vampire Diaries character Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) in season 4.
Sarah: Give a Vampire Diaries fan something to get me through one more week. Any scoop on Bonnie this season?
You’re in luck! We chatted with Kat Graham who said she’s taking Elena’s transformation “hard, like everyone.” Kat added: “It’s a transition time for everyone in the beginning of the season. Bonnie is going to have to be put under a lot of pressure to make something happen, and she’s going to have to rely on someone new to help her through that.” Hmm…new love interest, perhaps?
Question: Will Bonnie be at odds with group after what she did in the Vampire Diaries finale? —Tony
Ausiello: According to showrunner Julie Plec, she won’t suffer “friendship consequences,” but she will suffer “witch consequences.” Elaborates the EP: “She tapped into something pretty dark to do it, and she’s going to have to tap into that again in the first episode. It’s not going to be a walk in the park for her. She’s going to be struggling with her own darkness inside of her as Elena is starting to adapt to hers.”

Zap2it has the scoop on the future of the characters of The Vampire Diaries.
“The Vampire Diaries”: This season, the Mystic Falls gang will graduate from high school. In order to smooth the transition, viewers are going to start spending some time at the local university early in the season — remember, the unnamed school that Jenna attended while writing her thesis? Expect to meet a new recurring character, Professor Shane, who knows a thing or two about the paranormal. We’re hearing that initially, he’ll work quite closely with Bonnie. The story plays on some threads spun in an early Season 2 episode, “Bad Moon Rising.”
