Jackie: After reading your interview with Phoebe Tonkin, I now want to be besties with her and Claire Holt! Will we see Hayley and Rebekah share any scenes together on TVD?

Get in line, woman! Alas, with Rebekah being staked and all, we won’t see the fierce ladies share any scenes together in the near future. “We haven’t done a single scene together unfortunately,” Phoebe Tonkin tells us. We keep hinting as well. I would love, but at the moment I don’t think those storylines connect, but hopefully one day!”

(FYI: Phoebe spills that only actors she’s really worked with so far are Michael Trevino, Candice Accola, and Joseph Morgan.)

Wetpaint Spoilers for Tonight’s Episode of The Vampire Diaries

 

Wetpaint scoop on what to expect for tonight’s episode 4×05 “The Killer”.

As we see in this clip, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is chomping at her fangs to go after Connor (Todd Williams) and save Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen). “I want her to not be a damsel in distress. I want her to go out and protect her brother,” writer Michael Narducci told reporters at the screening.

We also got a quick flash of Elena on top of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in the promo. Yeah, that happens. No, it’s probably not all your Delena fantasies come true.

In case you couldn’t tell from the promo photos, Caroline (Candice Accola) definitely hears about, meets, and has words with Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) friend Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin). Don’t be surprised if Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tries to use what he thinks he knows about Hayley and Tyler with Caroline “to try to squeeze in there and maybe make a move or two,” says executive producer Julie Plec.

Again, as suggested by the promo photos, Bonnie (Kat Graham) is spending a lot of time with Professor Shane (David Alpay). He definitely has an interest in the witch, but his intentions aren’t as clear as crystal just yet. “We just don’t know if it’s in her best interest or not,” says Plec.

Zap2it Spoilers for Tomorrow’s Episode of The Vampire Diaries

 

Zap2it gives us 6 spoilers on what to expect for tomorrow’s episode 4×05 “The Killer”.

 1. At one point in the episode, Damon and Elena will be on a bed together. Don’t get tooexcited, though… they’re not exactly happy to be there. (Though, she is straddling him, so you can probably get some mileage out of the scene for your various Tumblr creations. We’ll be trawling your #Delena tag, so get creative.)
2. Caroline puts her super-vamp hearing to good use and overhears Klaus threaten Tyler with the knowledge of what happened between Tyler and Hayley in the mountains. Needless to say, Caroline isn’t pleased — and we get some great interaction between Candice Accola and Phoebe Tonkin as a result.

5. Stefan and Damon’s little “fight” escalates in this episode, big time, as Stefan goes to drastic measure to keep the cure a secret. Both guys get pretty violent, but by the end of the episode, Damon and Stefan’s bond with each other is the most stable relationship in town.

6. Professor Shane definitely has a dangerous agenda, but he’s also very motivated to protect Bonnie. She spends the entire episode with him, trying to get her magic mojo back… and she’s more vulnerable to manipulation than you might think.

We chatted with the CW hit’s gorgeous new lady wolf about her character Hayley and Tonkin tells us that viewers can expect to see her go up against Klaus. “She kind of speaks before she thinks, especially to people that are probably a little bit dangerous,” she teases. “I think her mouth could get her into trouble…possibly!” Unfortunately, Tonkin won’t be sharing scenes with her real-life BFFClaire Holt, who plays Rebekah on the show, as we’re hearing the Original vamp will be absent for several episodes. (You can blame her bro Klaus for that.)

What to expect this season: The Salvatore Brothers (Somerhalder’s Damon and Wesley’s Stefan) will disagree over whether ultra sensitive new vampire Elena (Dobrev) could handle hurting a human, but come episode 2, they’ll have an additional worry: the arrival of a vampire hunter (Todd Williams) with an enigmatic origin story that piques the interest of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and figures into the larger mythology for season 4. After deciding to hang around Mystic Falls while he investigates the mysterious vampire hunter, Klaus will also commit himself to his crush on Caroline (Candice Accola) for the long haul and ponder fun ways to screw up her relationship with Tyler. One will involve guest star Phoebe Tonkin (The Secret Circle), who’ll recur as a friend of Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) named Hayley.
Plec says: ”All we know about Hayley thus far is that she shows up in the third episode and it’s clear that she and Tyler have a history that we weren’t aware of, that Caroline isn’t aware of, and that Klaus learns of very quickly.
